Research

In the area of research we focus on:

• gender analysis on the level of Banská Bystrica Self-governing region – collecting and further analysis of different data sources and statistics in the region with specific focus on the analysis of the situation of men and women
• gender analysis on the level of the Office of Banská Bystrica Self-governing region and organisations falling within its authority – analysis of the employees structure, proportion of women and their salary and job conditions, analysis of the impact of the legislative measures on the level of BBSGR on women and men individually
• specially designed research – more realised research aimed at describing the situation of women in the region; institute's team is currently evaluating the research results “Unemployed women in BBSGR” realised in cooperation with the Office of Labour, social affairs and family
